Anyone who has spent time leaning over record store crates knows the tinge of excitement that finding something new and unexpected brings. Maybe it’s that special edition of your favorite album, unopened, or perhaps the cover caught your eye and you got it on a whim. Or maybe it’s the collector’s holy grail, the test pressing. Test pressings are a record’s prototype, the first first edition, released only to promoters and radio stations.
At Hendershot’s, we’re bringing the excitement of finding that perfect record to the satisfaction of finding that perfect blend with “test pressings” of our own. While we’re still in the research and development stage of concocting delicious house blends, small batches of experimental, boldly created blends will be available for a limited time. So, if you’re feeling adventurous, come on in and grab one, you never know what you might find.
Plus, we won’t ask you at the checkout, “Oh, you like coffee? Name your three favorite blends.”
